Application Criteria

ACADEMIC AWARDS
Academics are invited to apply for any one of the awards above by demonstrating competencies in the criteria set out. The evidence may be embedded as clickable links in the reflective statement or as a separate folder.

All academics are invited to apply for any award category by providing the following in .PDF format:

Current registration with the SACSSP
Updated curriculum vitae (CV).
A reflective statement (max. 1,000 words) addressing the above criteria.
Two letters of support (one from a senior academic, one from a student or community stakeholder).

STUDENT AWARDS
Academic staff are encouraged to nominate students OR groups of students who meet the criteria.

The student/group of students should then write a motivation of 500 words that show evidence of how the criteria were achieved and seek a letter of support from a lecturer in the academic department.
Students should be currently registered a South African university affiliated to ASASWEI
