ASASWEI invites nominations for the 2025 Awards in the three categories above.
All nominations must be submitted online via the form provided below.

Application Criteria for each of the Categories with their relevant Sub- Categories

  1. ACADEMIC Awards

    Utilizing diverse teaching methods that cater to different learning styles and needs, fostering active participation and critical thinking.
    Curriculum Development and Innovation
    Demonstrating the ability to design and implement engaging and relevant curricula, incorporating current social work knowledge and practice.
    Pedagogical Competence
    ⦁ Showing a strong understanding of teaching and learning principles, including the ability to observe teaching and student learning, and to plan to improve pedagogical practice.
    ⦁ Scholarship and Contributions: active and collaborative publications and creative outputs (podcasts, YouTube channels, videos etc)
    ⦁ Research-Informed Teaching:
    ⦁ Integrating research findings into teaching and encouraging students to engage with research.

    Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends in social work education and practice.
